To His Worship The Mayor and Aldermen of Launceston City Council;

We, the electors of the Launceston City Council municipality area petition the Councilors to facilitate an Elector Poll following the Public Meeting held on 21 June 2016 pursuant to section 59 of the Local Government Act 1993 on the subject matter of calling on Council to rescind the motion passed by Full Council Meeting 9th November 2015, Item 20-20.1, to transfer the land known as Willis Street Carpark and Old Velodrome site at Invermay Road Inveresk (free gift) to University of Tasmania.
